Step 7 of 27
Place your wire bail on your primary wire frame:
- Teardrop shaped wire on the front (fig. 7a).
- Side view (fig. 7b).
- Straight wires on the back (fig. 7c).
At the back of your pendant, split the excess 18 gauge gold copper wires upwards as shown (fig. 7d, 7e).

Step 8 of 27
On this step, you will anchor the wire bail onto the primary wire frame using the wire coiling technique.
Work on the right loose 18 gauge wire by making three coil at the bottom of the 12 gauge wire frame loop (fig. 8a, 8b, 8c).
Then, repeat on the left side (fig. 8d, 8e, 8f).
Trim off excess 18 gauge wires with your wire cutter (fig. 8g, 8h, 8i, 8j, 8k).
Your wire bail for your pendant is complete!
Step 9 of 27
Moving on, make a secondary wire frame for your pendant with a new string of 12 gauge copper wire (fig. 9a).
Form a small loop and mark the intersecting point with pen or pencil (fig. 9b, 9c, 9d).
Bend the extra wires into a curve with your flat nose pliers to form a tip (fig. 9e, 9f, 9g, 9h, 9i).
