Step 9 of 21
Flatten the secondary frame with a hammer on a base metal plate (fig. 9a, 9b, 9c).
Then, assemble the secondary frame onto the primary frame using a chain nose pliers and 26-gauge copper wire as shown (fig. 9d, 9e, 9f, 9g).

Step 10 of 21
Thirdly, let’s introduce a new shape to your pendant with a ring frame.
Take a string of 22-gauge copper wire and loop it around a wooden ring mandrel (fig. 10a, 10b, 10c, 10d).
Then, place the wire loop behind the top half your pendant frame and tape it in place (fig. 10e, 10f, 10g).
Bend the excess 22-gauge copper wires into straight lines, along the sides of your pendant frame (fig. 10h, 10i, 10j, 10k).
Step 11 of 21
Next, let’s weave a beautiful texture onto the crystal point side frames.
Place the 22-gauge copper frame in between your primary and secondary crystal point frames (fig. 11a).
Take a string of 26-gauge copper wire and weave the following combo (fig. 11b, 11c, 11d, 11e):
- Make 3 small coils on the 22-gauge copper frame, and then 2 big coils over the primary frame.
- Then, make 3 small coils on the 22-gauge copper frame, and then 2 big coils over the secondary frame.
Checkpoint: This is how your crystal point should look after weaving (fig. 11f).
After that, crisscross the extra 22-gauge copper wires at the back of your pendant (fig. 11g, 11h, 11i, 11j).
