Step 5 of 21
Moving on, coil the round crystal frame and weave its seating together using a 26-gauge copper wire (fig. 5a).
Start by coiling the wire frame for 5 coils, then weave one big coil over to its seating.
Checkpoint: This is how the left, right, front and back sides of your coiled round crystal holder frame should look (fig. 5b, 5c, 5d, 5e).

Step 6 of 21
Close the top of the round crystal frame with a 26-gauge copper wire (fig. 6a, 6b).
After that, flatten the crystal point frame by hammering it on a base metal plate (fig. 6c, 6d, 6e, 6f).
Step 7 of 21
Now, let’s add a secondary frame for your crystal point.
Take a string of 18-gauge copper wire and make a U-shape (fig. 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d).
Mark the midpoint with a pen and bend a sharp point on the wire with a chain nose pliers (fig. 7e, 7f).
Place the secondary frame at the bottom of your primary crystal point frame as shown (fig. 7g, 7h).
Then, mark the crystal point edges on the secondary frame and bend it in shape (fig. 7i, 7j, 7k).
Step 8 of 21
Next, let’s form the top part of your secondary frame (fig. 8a).
Use a chain nose pliers and make a 45-degree bend on both 18-gauge copper wires (fig. 8b).
Make sure the bending points are inline with the top of your round crystal holder (fig. 8c, 8d).
Then, bend the extra wires into straight lines (fig. 8e, 8f, 8g, 8h).
