WIRE-WRAPPING BEAUTIFUL HEXAGONAL CRYSTAL POINT PENDANT TUTORIAL
Step 1 of 21
Equip your work table with items from the Materials and Tool list (fig. 1a).
Firstly, let’s make a main frame to hold your Crystal Hexagonal Wand Stone.
Tape a string of 18-gauge copper wire on the left side of your crystal (fig. 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e).
Then wrap the wire over the bottom to the right side of your crystal (fig. 1f, 1g).
Step 2 of 21
Next, wrap the top of your crystal with the remaining 18-gauge copper wire (fig. 2a, 2b).
Then, bend the extra wires into straight lines using a chain nose pliers (fig. 2c, 2d, 2e).
Take a string of 26-gauge copper wire and coil the wire frame to a close (fig. 2f, 2g, 2h).
Step 3 of 21
Secondly, let’s form a round crystal holder on the top your crystal point frame.
Split the 18-gauge copper wires into a V-shape (fig. 3a).
Then, form semi-circle curls on both wires with a stepped bail-making pliers and chain nose pliers (fig. 3b, 3c, 3d, 3e, 3f).
Step 4 of 21
After that, make a small spiral crystal seating with 18-gauge copper wire, round nose pliers and nylon jaw pliers (fig. 4a, 4b, 4c).
Then, assemble your round crystal with its frame and seating as shown (fig. 4d, 4e, 4f, 4g).
