Add detail to the back design with a round nose pliers (fig. 13a, 13b).
Smoothen the trimmed wire ends with a flat diamond needle files (fig. 13c).

Make a coil on a new string of 18-gauge copper wire with a stepped bail-making pliers (fig. 14a).
Cut off the remaining wire and you have a jump ring as shown (fig. 14b).
Twist the jump ring open to flatten out the ends (fig. 14c, 14d).
Slide the jump ring on the pendant and close it (fig. 14e, 14f).

Final step, dust off the debris from your pendant with a finest steel wire wool.
