WIRE-WRAPPING BLUE MARBLE SPHERE BALL ABSTRACT SWIRL PENDANT TUTORIAL
Step 1 of 16
Ready all items from the Materials and Tool list (fig. 1a).
Cut 2 strings of 18-gauge silver copper wire that measure 16-inches in length (fig. 1b, 1c).
Combine both wire strings by taping them in sections as shown (fig. 1d, 1e, 1f, 1g).
Step 2 of 16
Next, mark the midpoint on the 18-gauge silver copper wires and place your marble on the spot (fig. 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d).
Then, wrap the remaining wires into a U-shape around the marble (fig. 2e).
Spare some length and cross the extra wires at the top as shown (fig. 2f).
Step 3 of 16
Tape below the wire crossing point and then straighten the remaining 18-gauge silver copper wires (fig. 3a, 3b).
Curl the straight wires into a wire bail using a stepped bail-making pliers (fig. 3c, 3d, 3e).
