Step 8 of 23
Next, curve the 20-gauge gold wire towards the center of your Dragonfly frame (fig. 8a, 8b).
Continue to coil the 18-gauge wing frame with the existing 24-gauge gold wire (fig. 8c, 8d, 8e, 8f).
Stop when you reach the indent point of your frame (fig. 8g).

Step 9 of 23
Take your small beads and slide them onto the curved 20-gauge gold wire (fig. 9a, 9b, 9c).
Stop when your beads reached the indent point of your frame (fig. 9d).
Lastly, weave the curved 20-gauge wire onto the 18-gauge wing frame with the existing 24-gauge gold wire (fig. 9e, 9f).
You have completed designing the top half of your Dragonfly wing frame.
Step 10 of 23
Moving on, let’s work on the bottom half of the Dragonfly wing frame.
Make 2 small loops with the remaining 20-gauge gold wire:
- First small loop (fig. 10a, 10b).
- Second small loop (fig. 10c, 10d).
Then, weave the extra 20-gauge gold wire to the 18-gauge wing frame, repeating the Step 5 weave combo (fig. 10e, 10f, 10g).
Step 11 of 23
Curve the 20-gauge gold wire within the Dragonfly frame as shown (fig. 11a, 11b).
Then, continue to coil on the 20-gauge curved gold wire with the 24-gauge gold wire (fig. 11c, 11d, 11e).
After that, weave the 20-gauge curved wire onto the 18-gauge wing frame (fig. 11f, 11g, 11h).
