Step 5 of 23
Next, use a 24-gauge gold copper wire and coil the 20-gauge gold wire onto the Dragonfly frame (fig. 5a, 5b, 5c).
Then, continue to weave in this combo:
- 5 small coils on the Dragonfly frame (fig. 5d, 5e).
- 1 big coil on the 20-gauge gold wire and Dragonfly frame (fig. 5f, 5g, 5h).
Repeat the weaving combo for 3 more times (fig. 5i).

Step 6 of 23
After that, bend the 20-gauge gold wire inwards to the center of the Dragonfly frame (fig. 6a, 6b, 6c).
Make another bend outwards that touches the indent of the bottom frame (fig. 6d, 6e, 6f).
Then, make a small loop on top of the indent using a round nose pliers (fig. 6g, 6h).
Step 7 of 23
Go back to the 24-gauge gold wire and continue coiling the 18-gauge frame (fig. 7a, 7b).
Secure the small loop onto the frame with 2 coils (fig. 7c, 7d, 7e).
Then, coil until you reach near the tip of the Dragonfly wing (fig. 7f, 7g).
Weave the loose 20-gauge gold wire onto the 18-gauge frame using the combo from Step 5 (fig. 7h, 7i, 7j).
