Step 4 of 16
Moving on, take a new 20 gauge copper and anchor onto the beak frame with a curled front wire (fig. 4a, 4b).
Then, line the wire to form a upper secondary body frame (fig. 4c, 4d).
Coil a 26 gauge copper wire at the body frame start point to standby for weaving (fig. 4e, 4f, 4g):

- One small coil, on the secondary 20 gauge wire frame.
- Two big coils, over both wire frames.
- One small coil, on the primary 18 gauge wire frame.
Lastly, form the lower secondary body frame with a 22 gauge copper wire (fig. 4h, 4i).
After that, weave the bird head area with the loose 26 gauge copper wire by alternating the coiling combo on the body frame (fig. 4j, 4k).

Step 5 of 16
Now, take the first wing frame and position it onto the body frame using an adhesive tack-it clay (fig. 5a, 5b).
On the loose lower wing wire, form a wire spiral to fill up the bird belly area (fig. 5c).
Then use the loose upper wing wire to form a teardrop frame around the belly area, and finish with wire spiral as shown (fig. 5d, 5e, 5f).
Step 6 of 16
Continue weaving the belly frame onto the body frame with the remaining 26 gauge copper wire (fig. 6a, 6b, 6c, 6d).
Trim off the excess 18 gauge body frame wire using a wire cutter (fig. 6e, 6f, 6g, 6h).
Then, finish the weaving process until you reach the body frame end point (fig. 6i, 6j).
Step 7 of 16
Slide one golden spacer bead, and wrap it with the remaining 20 gauge copper wire (fig. 7a, 7b, 7c).
Then, make two elongated oval loop frames to form the bird tail frame:
- First elongated oval loop frame (fig. 7d, 7e, 7f, 7g, 7h).
- Second elongated oval loop frame (fig. 7i, 7j).
Trim off the excess tail frame wire with a wire cutter (fig. 7k, 7l, 7m, 7n).
