Moving on, let’s add eyes onto your wire dragonfly using a new 22 gauge silver copper wire (fig. 8a).

Combine the wire on the top part of the 18 gauge head frame by coiling them with a 24 gauge silver copper wire (fig. 8b).

Then, slip in one imitation pearl bead on the right loose 22 gauge silver copper wire (fig. 8c, 8d).

Frame the front side of the pearl bead with one wire wrap  (fig. 8e, 8f, 8g).

After that, form a wire spiral at the back side of the pearl bead (fig. 8h, 8i).

Lastly, form a second wire spiral at the top right of the pearl bead, and repeat on the other bead (fig. 8j).

Refine the eye frame design until both are equal (fig. 9a, 9b, 9c).

Then, add a minute swirly detail onto the eye frames using a 24 gauge silver copper wire (fig. 9d, 9e, 9f).

Next, refine the shape of the wire wing frames using a round nose pliers (fig. 10a, 10b).

Then, polish your wire dragonfly pendant with a finest steel wire wool (fig. 10c).

You can also push the inner wing tips inwards for a pattern contrast (fig. 10d, 10e).

Step 11 of 11

Let’s make a jump ring using a 18 gauge silver copper wire (fig. 11a).

Wrap the wire around the largest diameter of a stepped bail-making pliers (fig. 11b, 11c).

Then, trim the wire at the overlapping point (fig. 11d).

Twist the jump ring sideways to open using a chain nose pliers (fig. 11e).

Finally, close the jump ring and attach it onto a necklace strap (fig. 11f, 11g).
