WIRE-WRAPPING PRECIOSA CRYSTAL DROP SILVER DRAGONFLY PENDANT TUTORIAL
Step 1 of 11
Ready all items from the Materials and Tool list (fig. 1a).
Firstly, form the dragonfly body frame with a 18 gauge silver copper wire (fig. 1b).
Draw a dragonfly template on a piece of paper as shown (fig. 1c).
Then, outline the dragonfly body template with the wire to frame it (fig. 1d, 1e).
Tip: Use tape to support the wire framing process.
Step 2 of 11
Trim the excess wire at the overlapping point for a neat frame joint (fig. 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d).
Then, seal the wire frame by coiling it with a 26 gauge silver copper wire (fig. 2e, 2f).
Step 3 of 11
Next, form the dragonfly wing frame with a 20 gauge silver copper wire (fig. 3a).
Mark the wire midpoint with a bend, and then outline the right dragonfly wing (fig. 3b).
Tape and continue outlining the opposite wing (fig. 3c, 3d).
After that, place the 20 gauge wing frame on top of the 18 gauge body frame with a Tack It Adhesive Clay (fig. 3e, 3f).

Coil the extra 20 gauge silver copper wires along the 18 gauge dragonfly tail frame (fig. 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, 4e).
Then, trim and curl the 20 gauge coiled wire end (fig. 4f, 4g).
