Step 15 of 29
Braid the entire length of your 18-gauge wires (fig. 15a).
Then, make a diagonal wrap from the bail to the left side of your pendant as shown (fig. 15b, 15c, 15d, 15e).
Remove the excess wire at the braid end and make an outward spiral loop with a round nose pliers (fig. 15f, 15g, 15h).

Step 16 of 29
Moving on, let’s work on the remaining loose 18-gauge wires from the bail.
Divide the wires into half, with two strings each as shown (fig. 16a).
On the right side, we will do a basic wire weaving design.
Take a 22-gauge gold copper wire and anchor it on the right inner wire with three coils (fig. 16b, 16c).
Then, continue to make a group of three coils on the right outer wire (fig. 16d).
Alternate the weaving process on both wires until you reach the wire ends (fig. 16e, 16f).
After that, wrap the weaved wire diagonally from the bail to the right side of your pendant (fig. 16g, 16h).
At the back of your pendant, curve the weaved wire on the surface of your stone as shown (fig. 16i).
Step 17 of 29
Next, twist the remaining 18-gauge wires on the left to add a rope texture design (fig. 17a, 17b, 17c).
Then, wrap the twisted wire alongside the previously weaved wire (fig. 17d, 17e, 17f, 17g).
Step 18 of 29
Polish the ends of your weaved wire by cutting off excess 22-gauge wire (fig. 18a, 18b, 18c).
Adjust the shape of the curve by curling the wire inwards (fig. 18d).
Repeat the curling process on the twisted wire as well (fig. 18e, 18f).
