Continue to weave upwards with a step forward by repeating the same coiling process of two coils per wire:
- Third gold wire (fig. 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, 4e, 4f).
- Fourth silver wire (fig. 4g, 4h, 4i, 4j).
- Fifth gold wire (fig. 4k, 4l, 4m).
Checkpoint: This is how your wire weaving pattern should look at the midpoint of your wire strip (fig. 4n).

Proceed to weave towards the top with the two coils per wire sequence:
- Sixth silver wire (fig. 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d).
- Seventh gold wire (fig. 5e, 5f, 5g, 5h, 5i).
- Eighth silver wire (fig. 5j, 5k, 5l, 5m, 5n, 5o).
- Ninth gold wire (fig. 5p, 5q, 5r, 5s).
Checkpoint: Your first half of the upward zig-zag weave pattern is complete (fig. 5t).
