Secure the pearl front by framing it with the right loose wire (fig. 4a, 4b).

Then, make three wire loops on the side of the pearl:

  • Top left loop (fig. 4c, 4d).
  • Top right loop (fig. 4e, 4f).
  • Bottom left loop (fig. 4g, 4h).

Trim off the excess 20 gauge copper wire with a wire cutter (fig. 5a, 5b).

On the back side, use a 26 gauge copper wire to weave the pearl head frame together:

  • Top right weave point (fig. 5c, 5d).
  • Top left weave point (fig. 5e, 5f, 5g).

Now, let’s weave the body frame using 26 gauge copper wire (fig. 6a).

Make a starting coil at the top right frame in the anti-clockwise direction (fig. 6b).

Then, pull the wire across to the opposite frame and make a coil in the clockwise direction (fig. 6c, 6d).

Repeat the weaving process until the body frame is covered. Loosely weave at the end tip to leave space for detailing later  (fig. 6e, 6f).

Lastly, trim off the excess weaving wire (fig. 6g).
