WIRE-WRAPPING GLEAMING FILIGREE BUTTERFLY STATEMENT PENDANT TUTORIAL

Ready all items from the Materials and Tool list (fig. 1a).
Draw a butterfly template on a piece of paper as shown (fig. 1b).
Then, trace the wing template with a 20 gauge copper wire while taping it on the paper as support (fig. 1c, 1d).
Hammer the folded wire points to work harden the frame (fig. 1e, 1f, 1g, 1h).

Next, let’s trace the body template with the remaining 20 gauge wires (fig. 2a).
On the left loose wire, make a small zigzag fold at the end tip, and line the wire along the right side of the body (fig. 2b).
On the right loose wire, make a second zigzag fold on top of the first one to prevent overlapping (fig. 2c, 2d).
Lastly, line the wire along the left side of the body, and cross the wires at the top center of the body frame (fig. 2e, 2f).

Moving on, use the loose wire on your left to trace the head template (fig. 3a, 3b).
Then, make an inward wire spiral and trim off the excess with a wire cutter (fig. 3c, 3d, 3e, 3f).
Take a 6 mm near round pearl and sit it on the head frame (fig. 3g, 3h, 3i).
