WIRE-WRAPPING SIMPLE LARGE WOVEN LABRADORITE STONE PENDANT TUTORIAL
Step 1 of 9
Ready all items from the Materials and Tool list (fig. 1a).
Cut 2 strings of 18-gauge copper wire that measure 16-inches in length (fig. 1b).
Then, fold one 18-gauge copper wire string in half using a chain nose pliers (fig. 1c, 1d, 1e, 1f).
Repeat the folding process on the second wire string (fig. 1g).
After that, take a labradorite stone and frame it with the two folded 18-gauge copper wires (fig. 1h, 1i, 1j).
Step 2 of 9
Next, let’s add two layers of coiling texture onto your stone wire frame.
For the back layer, use a 22-gauge copper wire as coiling wire (fig. 2a, 2b, 2c).
As for the front layer, use a 26-gauge copper wire as coiling wire (fig. 2d, 2e).
Repeat the coiling process on the opposite frame (fig. 2f, 2g).
