Step 3 of 10
Now, let’s seal the primary wire flower frame using a hooking method.
Leave a short length of 20-gauge silver copper wire and trim the excess with a wire cutter (fig. 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d).
Then, curl a small loop at the trimmed wire end that is parallel to the wire frame as shown (fig. 3e, 3f).

Trim the other remaining 20-gauge silver copper wire and leave a short length behind (fig. 3g, 3h).
Hook the short wire into the first wire loop and form a small loop to seal the wire frame (fig. 3i, 3j, 3k).

Step 4 of 10
Moving on, let’s form a secondary wire flower frame with a new 20-gauge silver copper wire.
This time, your flower petal will be 1 inch in length (fig. 4a).
Repeat Step 1 to Step 2 to create your secondary wire flower frame:
- Use a flat nose pliers to form 5 U-bends on the wire (fig. 4b).
- Use a chain nose pliers to squeeze the tips of the U-bends (fig. 4c, 4d).
- Loosen up the squeezed wire (fig. 4e).
- Use a stepped bail-making pliers to form large wire petals (fig. 4f, 4g, 4h).
