WIRE-WRAPPING SILVER STAR FLOWER WITH BEADED SEED PENDANT TUTORIAL
Step 1 of 10
Prepare all items from the Materials and Tool list (fig. 1a).
Firstly, let’s form the primary wire flower frame with a 20-gauge silver copper wire (fig. 1b).
Measure about 0.75 inch on your wire and make a 90-degree bend using a chain nose pliers (fig. 1c, 1d).
Then, measure about 0.6 inch on your wire and make a narrow U-bend with a flat nose pliers (fig. 1e, 1f, 1g).
Repeat the wire bending process until you have a set of 5 U-bends as shown (fig. 1h).
After that, squeeze the tips of your U-bends with a chain nose pliers (fig. 1i, 1j).
Step 2 of 10
Next, let’s shape the petals for your wire flower frame.
Loosen up the squeezed 20-gauge silver copper wire tips and form a V-shape frame (fig. 2a).
Then, place a round nose pliers in between the V-frame and curl the wire opening to form the first wire petal (fig. 2b, 2c, 2d, 2e).
Repeat the wire curling process until you have 5 wire petals as shown (fig. 2f, 2g, 2h, 2i).
