Step 4 of 10
Loop the coiled coil wire around your pendant frame (fig. 4a).
Then, anchor the naked 20-gauge copper wire onto your wire bail:
- Left bail anchor point (fig. 4b, 4c, 4d).
- Right bail anchor point (fig. 4e).
Remember to pull the extra 20-gauge copper wire upwards.

Step 5 of 10
Now, let’s form the back abalone shell holder frame with the 18-gauge flatten bail wires (fig. 5a).
Curve the all the remaining flat wires into a round frame (fig. 5b, 5c).
Then, take a new 26-gauge copper wire and bundle the flat wires on the bottom frame (fig. 5d, 5e).
After that, connect the front bottom frame and repeat the coiling design (fig. 5f, 5g, 5h).
Trim off the excess 26-gauge copper wire with a wire cutter (fig. 5i).
Step 6 of 10
Next, use a round nose pliers to form a swirl at the bottom frame with the extra flat wire (fig. 6a, 6b, 6c).
Then, repeat the coiling and frame connecting process on the right frame using a new 26-gauge copper wire (fig. 6d, 6e, 6f, 6g).
Step 7 of 10
Proceed to coil and connect the left frame to the front frame using a new 26-gauge copper wire (fig. 7a, 7b, 7c).
Then, curl a swirl on the right frame with the extra flat wire and a round nose pliers (fig. 7d, 7e).
