Remove the ring band from the wooden ring mandrel (fig. 4a).
At the right side of the bead, make 3 coils on the ring band with the loose bent 20-gauge copper wire (fig. 4b, 4c, 4d, 4e).
Repeat the coiling process at the left side of the bead (fig. 4f, 4g).

Now, let’s form an elegant wire frame around your bead.
Curve the left loose 20-gauge copper wire over the top of your bead (fig. 5a, 5b).
Then, overlap the right loose 20-gauge copper wire over the curved wire as shown (fig. 5c).
Pull the wire end under the curved wire on the left side of your bead (fig. 5d, 5e.
Checkpoint: This is how the first layer of your bead wire frame should look (fig. 5f).

Secure the first wire bead frame layer by anchoring a coil on the ring band under the bead:
- Left anchor point (fig. 6a, 6b, 6c, 6d).
- Right anchor point (fig. 6e, 6f, 6g, 6h).
