Step 5 of 12
Now, let’s add on a secondary wire frame layer to introduce flowy swirl design onto your pendant.
Take a 20-gauge copper wire as base wire, while using a 22-gauge copper wire as coiling wire (fig. 5a).
Form a coiled 20-gauge wire as shown (fig. 5b, 5c).

Then, take two strings of 18-gauge copper wire and line them beside the coiled 20-gauge wire (fig. 5d, 5e).
Place the front end of the wire bundle at the back of the woven bail, and anchor with a single coil (fig. 5f, 5g, 5h, 5i).
Step 6 of 12
Wrap the wire bundle along the wire bail and the right frame (fig. 6a, 6b, 6c, 6d).
Then, make a wrap at the back bottom frame as shown (fig. 6e, 6f).
Step 7 of 12
At the bottom frame, separate the coiled wire from the wire bundle (fig. 7a).
Use a round nose pliers to form a loop with the two naked 18-gauge copper wires (fig. 7b, 7c).
Then, combine the coiled wire in between the remaining 18-gauge wires (fig. 7d, 7e, 7f).
Finish the loop frame design by pulling the wire bundle downwards (fig. 7g, 7h, 7i, 7j).
