WIRE-WRAPPING GRACE WOVEN SWIRL OVAL GEMSTONE PENDANT TUTORIAL
Step 1 of 12
Ready all items from the Materials and Tool list (fig. 1a).
Take a 18-gauge copper wire and make a U-shape (fig. 1b, 1c).
Then, place your moonstone at the base, and frame it with 18-gauge copper wire (fig. 1d, 1e, 1f).
Step 2 of 12
Next, bend the extra 18-gauge copper wires into straight lines (fig. 2a, 2b, 2c).
Then, curl them into a bail using a stepped bail-making pliers (fig. 2d, 2e, 2f, 2g).
Step 3 of 12
At the back side, use the remaining 18-gauge copper wires to design a swirly back stone holder frame (fig. 3a).
Curve the right loose wire along the right frame (fig. 3b).
Then, curve the left loose wire along the midpoint of the left frame and end with a swirl (fig. 3c).
Lastly, use the remaining right loose wire to fill up the bottom empty space with another swirl (fig. 3d).
Step 4 of 12
Moving on, take a new 22-gauge copper wire to weave the bail (fig. 4a).
Start on the right bail frame with a double coil (fig. 4b).
Then, alternate the double coiling process between the bail frames until you cover the end point (fig. 4c, 4d, 4e).
