Step 5 of 9
After that, pull the extra wires from the bottom of your diamond to the front (fig. 5a, 5b).
Make four anchor points onto the outer 20-gauge copper ring band (fig. 5c, 5d, 5e).
Then, trim off the excess wires with a wire cutter (fig. 5f, 5g).

Step 6 of 9
Now, let’s add details to your diamond wire frame with the remaining loose wires.
Take a new 26-gauge copper wire and weave the loose 20-gauge copper wire in the following combo:
- Make four coils on the bottom wire and then, make a big coil across the two wires (fig. 6a).
- Then, make a single figure-8 weave on both wires and wrap a big coil on both wires.
- Weave about 3 sets of the combo and trim the excess wire (fig. 6b).
After that, bend the 20-gauge copper wires on its sides and curve them using a round nose pliers (fig. 6c, 6d, 6e, 6f)).
Repeat the wire weaving and wire-curving process on the opposite loose wires (fig. 6g, 6h, 6i).
Step 7 of 9
Finish the wire frame design by curling the ends of the curved 20-gauge copper wires using a round nose pliers (fig. 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d, 7e).
