WIRE-WRAPPING ELEGANT BLUE TURQUOISE BEAD CHARM PENDANT TUTORIAL
Step 1 of 7
Ready all items from the Materials and Tool list (fig. 1a).
Then, slip one blue turquoise bead onto a 20-gauge copper wire string (fig. 1b, 1c, 1d).
Tape the turquoise bead at an inch distance from the wire end (fig. 1e).
Step 2 of 7
Next, let’s create a wire bail with the remaining longer wire string (fig. 2a).
Use a round nose pliers to form a small wire loop at the top (fig. 2b, 2c).
Then, finish the wire bail design with coiling at the stem (fig. 2d).
Lastly, form a second small wire loop on the top surface of the turquoise bead (fig. 2e, 2f).
Step 3 of 7
Moving on, frame the turquoise bead by wrapping the loose 20-gauge copper wire around it for two rounds (fig. 3a):
- First frame wrap (fig. 3b, 3c).
- Second frame wrap (fig. 3d, 3e).
This is how your charm pendant frame should look so far (fig. 3f, 3g).
