Step 3 of 9
Thirdly, place the 12-gauge dragonfly wing structure on the base metal plate (fig. 3a).
Flatten the dragonfly wing structure by gently hammering it with a flat round face hammer (fig. 3b).

Step 4 of 9
Similarly, flatten the 16-gauge dragonfly tail structure by gently hammering it on the base metal plate (fig. 4a, 4b, 4c).
Step 5 of 9
For this step, we will combine the dragonfly wing and tail structures into a one piece pendant.
Anchor a string of 20-gauge gold copper wire on the dragonfly wing structure as shown (fig. 5a, 5b, 5c).
Then, position the dragonfly tail structure under the dragonfly wing structure (fig. 5d).
Next, tie both structures together by wrapping the 20-gauge gold copper wire in the middle (fig. 5e, 5f).
Step 6 of 9
Continue to make a few more wraps to secure the combined dragonfly structure (fig. 6a).
Then, use the excess wire to coil along the dragonfly tail for added details (fig. 6b, 6c, 6d).
Checkpoint: This is how your wire-wrapping creative dragonfly pendant should look at this point (fig. 6e).
