Moving on, curl the woven wire into a bail using a stepped bail-making pliers (fig. 3a, 3b, 3c).
Weave the exposed bail wires and trim off the excess 22-gauge copper wires (fig. 3d, 3e).
Then, trim off the excess 18-gauge copper wires and curl the wire ends as shown (fig. 3f, 3g).

Let’s add a red crystal onto your woven bail.
Slip a small raindrop crystal onto a new 22-gauge copper wire (fig. 4a).
Then, place the crystal at the center of the curved bail neck (fig. 4b).
Anchor the crystal by coiling it inwards where the wires exit from the center of the bail:
- Right bail anchor point (fig. 4c, 4d).
- Left bail anchor point (fig. 4e, 4f, 4g).

Next, let’s add swirly accents on the curved bail neck with the remaining 22-gauge copper wire (fig. 5a):
- Right bail neck swirly accent design (fig. 5b, 5c).
- Left bail neck swirly accent design (fig. 5d, 5e).
