Step 7 of 11
Next, let’s design the top frame for your diamond holder. Wrap two loops on the top of your diamond using the loose double 20-gauge silver copper wires on the left (fig. 7a):
- First loop (fig. 7b, 7c).
- Second loop (fig. 7d, 7e).
Then, pull the remaining 20-gauge silver copper wires through the back and out to the bottom left of your diamond (fig. 7f, 7g, 7h, 7i).

Step 8 of 11
Coil one of the the loose 20-gauge silver copper wires onto the left bottom wire band and curl the wire end (fig. 8a). Then, coil the second loose wire onto the same anchor point (fig. 8b). Form a figure-8 loop design over the anchor point (fig. 8c). Trim off the excess wire (fig. 8d, 8e).
Step 9 of 11
Moving on, let’s design the bottom frame for your diamond holder. Coil the bottom of your diamond with one of the loose 20-gauge silver copper wires (fig. 9a, 9b). Then, pull the current wire upwards through the back of your diamond (fig. 9c, 9d, 9e). Anchor the wire onto the right bottom and middle wire bands by coiling (fig. 9f, 9g, 9h).
Step 10 of 11
Trim off the excess 26-gauge silver copper wire on your ring band (fig. 10a, 10b). Then, complete the 20-gauge silver copper wire design with a figure-8 wire loop (fig. 10c, 10d).
