Step 5 of 12
Moving on, let’s form two sets of coiled wire using the following wires:
- 22-gauge copper wire as base wire (fig. 5a).
- 26-gauge copper wire as coiling wire (fig. 5b).
This is the result of the coiled wire (fig. 5c, 5d, 5e).
Tip: You can use a coiling gizmo to speed up the wire coiling process.

Step 6 of 12
Now, let’s form one set of 20-gauge coiled coil wire.
Firstly, repeat Step 5 to create one long coiled wire string (fig. 6a).
For the coiled coil wire, assemble the following wires:
- 20-gauge copper wire as base wire (fig. 6b).
- Long coiled 22-gauge copper wire and naked 22-gauge copper wire as coiling wires (fig. 6c).
Anchor the coiling wires onto the 20-gauge base wire (fig. 6d).
Then, start the double coiling process until you have enough length to wrap around your pendant frame (fig. 6e, 6f, 6g).
Step 7 of 12
Combine the two sets of coiled wire from Step 5 onto the left and right sides of the 20-gauge coiled coil wire (fig. 7a, 7b).
Anchor the 20-gauge coiled coil wire bundle onto the bottom right of the back frame (fig. 7c, 7d).
Then, anchor a new string of naked 20-gauge copper wire onto the bottom right of the front frame (fig. 7e, 7f, 7g).
