Step 8 of 14
Use a 32-gauge copper wire to add extra support on your abstract geometric wire frame (fig. 8a):
- First support point on the left wire prong (fig. 8b, 8c, 8d).
- Second support point on the top wire prong (fig. 8e, 8f).

Step 9 of 14
Finish up the abstract geometric wire frame design by undoing the extra weaved wire on the your pendant top (fig. 9a, 9b).
Leave only 1 inch of weaved wire behind, then trim off the excess 26-gauge gold copper wire with a wire cutter (fig. 9c, 9d).
Step 10 of 14
Moving on, let’s make a wire bail for your pendant.
Take a 26-gauge gold copper wire and weave single coil across the loose 20-gauge copper wires (fig. 10a, 10b, 10c).
Then, make double coil weave in the following combo:
- Two coils over the outer and inner left wires (fig. 10d).
- Two coils over the inner left and inner right wires (fig. 10e).
- Finally, two coils over the inner and outer right wires (fig. 10f).
Repeat the weaving process until you reach about 1.5 inches in length (fig. 10g, 10h, 10i).
Step 11 of 14
Curl the bail to the back of your pendant using a stepped bail-making pliers (fig. 11a, 11b).
Then, use a chain nose pliers to close your bail (fig. 11c, 11d).
Trim off the excess 26-gauge gold copper wires with a wire cutter (fig. 11e, 11f, 11g, 11h).
