WIRE-WRAPPING SPARKLING LABRADORITE PENDANT TUTORIAL
Step 1 of 13
Ready all items from the Materials and Tool section (fig. 1a).
Then, make an almond-shaped main frame for your labradorite stone with a 12-gauge wire copper wire (fig. 1b).
Use a flat nose pliers to form the bottom tip of your main frame (fig. 1c, 1d).
After that, tape the main frame onto your labradorite stone (fig. 1e).
Step 2 of 13
Mark the top end of the almond-shaped main frame with a pen or marker pen (fig. 2a).
Then, bend the extra wires straight using a flat nose pliers (fig. 2b, 2c, 2d, 2e, 2f).
Step 3 of 13
Tape the straight wires into a bundle, and then curl a U-shape with a stepped bail-making pliers (fig. 3a, 3b).
Next, mark the ending of your pendant bail using a pen or marker pen (fig. 3c).
After that, make a V-shape bend with a flat nose pliers on the extra wires (fig. 3d, 3e, 3f, 3g).
Step 4 of 13
At this step, you will create a stone guard to hold your labradorite on the front of your pendant.
Firstly, curve the right loose 12-gauge copper wire along the side of your stone and make a bend at the bottom right (fig. 4a, 4b).
Repeat the process on the left loose wire (fig. 4c, 4d).
Tape the wire stone guard on your stone (fig. 4e).
Then, add a zig-zag pattern on the remaining wires with a flat nose pliers as shown (fig. 4f, 4g, 4h, 4i).
Part one of your main frame design is complete.
