WIRE-WRAPPING PRECIOUS RED SPARK IN WIRE HEART PENDANT TUTORIAL
Step 1 of 13
Prepare all items from the Materials and Tool list (fig. 1a).
Cut two strings of 18-gauge copper wires that measure 16-inches in length (fig. 1b).
Then, draw a heart shape template on a piece of paper (fig. 1c).
Trace two halves of the heart template with the 18-gauge copper wires (fig. 1d, 1e, 1f).
Straighten the remaining wires and tape them to hold heart shaped frame (fig. 1g).
Step 2 of 13
Curl the top straight wires using a stepped bail-making pliers to form a bail (fig. 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d).
Step 3 of 13
Next, tape the back side of your pendant, and leave the remaining bail wires in front (fig. 3a).
Place the pendant upside down, and work with the right loose 18-gauge copper wire (fig. 3b).
Form a loop within the rounded frame (fig. 3c, 3d).
Then, manipulate an S-shape wire and line it along the pointed frame (fig. 3e).
Repeat the process on the opposite frame (fig. 3f, 3g, 3h).
