WIRE-WRAPPING LARGE COPPER WIRE FLOWER DROP EARRINGS TUTORIAL
Step 1 of 7
Ready all items from the Materials and Tool list (fig. 1a).
Firstly, let’s design the main frame for your earrings.
Draw the following flower template on a piece of paper (fig. 1b).
Then, take a 20-gauge copper wire and bend it according to the flower template (fig. 1c, 1d, 1e).
Step 2 of 7
Next, make a coil in the middle of your flower frame with remaining 20-gauge copper wire (fig. 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d).
Step 3 of 7
Continue to wrap a spiral with the remaining 20-gauge copper wire to form the seed design for your flower earring (fig. 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, 3e).
Step 4 of 7
Repeat Step 1 to Step 3 to complete your wire flower earrings set (fig. 4a).
Then, slightly curl the ends of your wire petal with a round nose pliers for a 3D visual effect (fig. 4b, 4c, 4d).
