WIRE-WRAPPING ICEBERG SHAPE SEA GLASS PENDANT TUTORIAL
Step 1 of 6
Prepare all items from the Materials and Tool list (fig. 1a).
You start with a string of 22-gauge gold copper wire and make a circle as shown (fig. 1b, 1c).
At the midpoint of your wire, use a pair of stepped bail-making pliers to form a loop (fig. 1d, 1e, 1f).
Then, twist your remaining wire for half inch (fig. 1g, 1h, 1i).
Your pendant bail is complete.
Step 2 of 6
Moving on, position your sea glass with the narrow tip pointing upwards (fig. 2a).
Place your pendant bail on top your sea glass and wrap along the sides with the loose 22-gauge gold copper wire (fig. 2b, 2c).
Once you reached the base of your sea glass, make a knot on your wires as shown (fig. 2d, 2e, 2f).
Step 3 of 6
Next, wrap the right loose 22-gauge wire to the right middle frame (fig. 3a, 3b).
Then, make a straight wrap across the back of your pendant (fig. 3c).
Lastly, pull the wire back to the starting point (fig. 3d).
Step 4 of 6
Anchor your wire at the bottom with a tight coil (fig. 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d).
Trim off the excess wire with a wire cutter (fig. 4e, 4f).
Then, use a long needle nose pliers to flatten the trimmed wire end for surface scratch prevention (fig. 4g, 4h).
