WIRE-WRAPPING DIY CHIC SILVER CRYSTAL CAGE PENDANT TUTORIAL
Step 1 of 13
Ready all items from the Materials and Tool list (fig. 1a).
Prepare 5 strings of 18-gauge silver copper wire that measure 7-inches in length (fig. 1b, 1c).
Step 2 of 13
Next, ready a 22-gauge gold copper wire for wire weaving (fig. 2a).
Mark the midpoint of your 18-gauge silver wires (fig. 2b).
Then, place the gold wire slightly to the left from the midpoint as shown (fig. 2c).
Anchor your gold wire on the middle silver wire with 3 coils (fig. 2d).
After that, wrap two big coils that covers the three inner silver wires (fig. 2e, 2f).
Step 3 of 13
Moving on, complete this next set of weaving sequence as follow:
- Wrap one medium coil on the top two silver wires (fig. 3a, 3b, 3c).
- Then, wrap one small coil on the middle silver wire (fig. 3d).
- Lastly, wrap one medium coil on the bottom two wires (fig. 3e, 3f).
Repeat the weaving sequence for one more set.
- Top medium coil (fig. 3g, 3h, 3i).
- Middle small coil (fig. 3j, 3k, 3l).
- Bottom medium coil (fig. 3m, 3n, 3o).
