Moving on, take a 22-gauge gold copper wire and coil the bottom overlapping 18-gauge silver wires (fig. 5a, 5b).
Keep coiling until you have cover the width of your stone base (fig. 5c, 5d).
Then, trim off the excess 22-gauge gold wire using a wire cutter (fig. 5e, 5f, 5g).

Step 6 of 11
Pull the right loose 18-gauge silver wire to the bottom right corner of the frame (fig. 6a, 6b).
Then, anchor it with a coil (fig. 6c, 6d).
Repeat on the left loose silver wire with a coil on the bottom left corner of the frame (fig. 6e, 6f, 6g, 6h).
Then, cross your loose silver wires across the surface of your stone as shown (fig. 6i).
Step 7 of 11
Let’s finish up your pendant bail design.
Use the remaining 22-gauge gold copper wire from your bail and wrap big coils around the bail neck (fig. 7a, 7b, 7c).
Then, make an anchor point on the wire frame with small coils (fig. 7d, 7e, 7f).
Trim off the excess 22-gauge gold wire with a wire cutter (fig. 7g, 7h).
Step 8 of 11
Make an anchor point on the top right frame with the loose 18-gauge silver copper wire (fig. 8a, 8b, 8c).
Repeat on the top left frame and anchor the other loose silver wire (fig. 8d, 8e).
Checkpoint: This is how your pendant back design should look (fig. 8f).
