Step 3 of 14
Thirdly, start a new string of 22-gauge gold copper wire and coil the straight 18-gauge wires together to close the main frame (fig. 3a, 3b).
Then proceed to coil the gold wire along the straight wires for another inch (fig. 3c).
Make a pendant bail by curling the coiled straight wires with a stepped bail-making pliers (fig. 3d, 3e).

Step 4 of 14
Fourthly, we will add a groovy wire design to the back side of the pendant.
Start with the right side 18-gauge brown copper wire, make a groovy line pattern as shown (fig. 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, 4e, 4f).
Repeat the same groovy line pattern on the left side 18-gauge brown copper wire (fig. 4g, 4h, 4i).
Step 5 of 14
Fifthly, finish up the design by anchoring the wires onto the main frame and trim off the excess wires.
- Right side: (fig. 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d, 5e, 5f)
- Left side: (fig. 5g, 5h, 5i, 5j, 5k)
Checkpoint: The front side of the pendant should look like (fig. 5l).
Step 6 of 14
Next, tidy up the pendant bail by trimming off the excess 22-gauge gold copper wire (fig. 6a, 6b, 6c, 6d).
