Now, let’s create the French wire or fish hook for your earrings.
Take a string of 22-gauge copper wire and curl it using the large diameter of a stepped bail-making pliers (fig. 8a, 8b, 8c, 8d).
Then, use a chain nose pliers to adjust the shape of your hook as shown (fig. 8e, 8f).

Add small detail on your hook with 26-gauge copper wire coils (fig. 8g, 8h).
Complete your fish hook design by looping the end of your 22-gauge copper wire (fig. 8i, 8j).

Attach the fish hook onto your earring dangle (fig. 9a).
Close the loop of your fish hook using a chain nose pliers (fig. 9b, 9c).
Polish the surface of your earrings with a finest steel wire wool (fig. 9d).
