• Small Red Oval Stone
• Wire Cutter (Big + Small)
• Mini Long Needle Nose Plier
• Flat Round Face Hammer
• Ball Pen Hammer Two-sided Flat/round Head

• Bracelet Measurement Cone
• Masking Tape

Step 1 of 17

Standby items from the Materials and Tool list on your worktable (fig. 1a).

Frame up your ruby red oval cabochon with a 20-gauge gold copper wire (fig. 1b, 1c).

Then, use a 26-gauge gold copper wire to tie up the excess wires (fig. 1d, 1e, 1f, 1g).

On this step, you will form a wire net around your cabochon with the wire weaving technique.

Make a small bump with the loose 26-gauge wire and make a loop on your 20-gauge wire frame (fig. 2a, 2b).

Continue with this weaving sequence of bumps and loops along your wire frame (fig. 2c, 2d).

Then, finish the first layer of your wire net with a tight coil on the starting point (fig. 2e, 2f, 2g, 2h, 2i).

Moving on, repeat the weaving sequence of bumps and loops on the second and third layers of your wire net.

• Second wire net layer (fig. 3a, 3b, 3c).
• Third wire net layer (fig. 3d, 3e, 3f) .

Take note that you should make a loop on the bump of your previous wire net layer.

After you have finished the third wire net layer, anchor your remaining 26-gauge wire on the first third layer net bump (fig. 4a, 4b).

Then, trim off the excess wire with a wire cutter (fig. 4c, 4d).

Your ruby red cabochon wire net frame is complete.
