WIRE-WRAPPING SIMPLE SINGLE TURQUOISE BEAD DROP EARRINGS TUTORIAL
Step 1 of 7
Ready all items from the Materials and Tool list (fig. 1a).
Firstly, take a 20-gauge copper wire and cut out approximately 4 inches in length (fig. 1b, 1c).
Then, tape your turquoise bead at the 1 inch mark (fig. 1d, 1e).
Step 2 of 7
Next, wrap the longer lower end of your 20-gauge copper wire for one round and a half around the bead (fig. 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2e).
Step 3 of 7
After that, anchor the remaining lower 20-gauge copper wire onto the upper wire (fig. 3a, 3b, 3c).
Then, use a chain nose pliers to make a tight coil (fig. 3d, 3e).
Trim off the excess 20-gauge copper wire with a wire cutter (fig. 3f, 3g).
Step 4 of 7
Make a loop at the top end of the upper 20-gauge copper wire using a round nose pliers (fig. 4a, 4b, 4c).
Checkpoint: This is how your drop earrings set should look (fig. 4d).
